2/12/2019 – What else can you do with hops besides brew beer? For regional growers, the question is, what other markets can they sell their hops to? At this upcoming conference, two chefs will explain how they cook with hops, a florist will talk about using hops in bouquets and decorations, a hop grower and owner of a local tea company will discuss how they work together, a distillery will describe hop distillates, and a medicinal herb buyer will provide information on selling hops to the dietary supplement industry. All the latest information on growing hops in the Southeast will also be provided, with research updates from NC State University and Virginia Tech hops programs and guest speakers from Michigan, Crosby Hop Farm, and Haas.Crowne Plaza Asheville

This conference takes place on St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Asheville. If you enjoy good beer and festivities, this is the weekend in be in this fun western NC city.
