N.C. Cooperative Extension, Durham County Center will hold a ‘virtual’ report to the community event June 1–5, 2020. One Cooperative Extension program will be featured each day of the week from 10–10:30 a.m., with a special Spanish language session on our family programs on Wednesday, June 3 from 11–11:30 a.m.

We will kick off the event on Monday with a focus on our agriculture programs.

On Tuesday we will cover our youth-focused programs, including Kids Voting Durham and Durham’s 4-H program.

Wednesday brings our family support programs including Welcome Baby, Parent & Family Advocacy, and Grandparent/Caregiver support. We’ll also be introducing our new Early Education Specialist to the community on Wednesday.

Thursday will focus on our ‘Garden to Table’ programs, with information on our Briggs Avenue Community Garden, as well as our food safety and nutrition programs.

We’ll round off the week with a focus on how you can Join Us. Our Volunteer Program Coordinator will share information, and we’ll hear a special word from our Director, Donna Rewalt.

All events will include Spanish language interpretation if the attendee joins via the webinar link.
