The Carteret County Health Department is asking the public to take the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Survey, which is conducted every three years. A CHNA seeks input from the community in order to guide the Health Department in identifying and addressing the health care needs of the community it serves for the next three years.

County Health Departments throughout the Eastern North Carolina region are conducting surveys. Therefore, even if you do not live in Carteret County, we ask that you still provide feedback to represent your county of residence. Once all survey responses are gathered, the information will be used to develop a community health improvement plan with community public health partners in the area.

CHNA Survey

We will be collecting survey data through June 18, 2021. English and Spanish survey links from the Carteret County Health Department can also be found via their Facebook page.

Thank you for taking time to help identify our most pressing health problems and issues to make our community a better and healthier place to live!
