Join your friends and family for three great days of down-home celebration North Carolina-style at the Got to Be NC Festival at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Gate Admission and Parking are FREE!

There is no general public parking inside the gates on the Fairgrounds during the Festival. All parking is located off Trinity Rd. There will be a free shuttle from Carter-Finley Stadium to Gate 9 during the peak hours of 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Saturday and Noon - 7 p.m. on Sunday. 

You can enjoy a full day of family fun without spending a dime at the Got to Be NC Festival. However, some of the events and activities cost money or require a special admission. They are:

Got to Be NC Homegrown Fare presented by Lowes Foods- $3 adult admission
Pony Rides, Masonic Carolina Pig Jig - $15 adults (11 and up), $5 ages 7-10, 6 and under are FREE

Successfullycompleting this course is one way to meet the requirements for a PCQI.

Edge at Lavender Oaks Farm |6 - 9 pm On December 6, we'll present our final event of the series amid the fragrant setting of Lavender Oaks Farm in Chapel Hill with guest speaker John T. Edge, author of critically acclaimed  The Potlikker Papers: A Food History of the Modern South. A prolific writer and insightful social commentator, Edge is director of the influential Southern Foodways Alliance.
