The Empowering Entrepreneurs And Seeding Innovation (EEASI) Challenge is a transformational, cohort learning experience that teaches entrepreneurship as an essential life skill – equipping youth and adults for financial, personal, & professional success. 

The EEASI Challenge is a program of Social & Economic Vitality (SEV), a collaborative initiative to end the cycle of poverty in Southeast Raleigh and eastern Wake County. As such, priority consideration for the 2020 Youth & Adult EEASI Challenge will be given to applicants living in SEV’s Southeast Raleigh zone (zip codes 27601, 27603, 27610), with some consideration also given to applicants in SEV’s eastern Wake County zone (zip codes 27591, 27545, 27597). Individuals residing in other areas of Raleigh/Wake County are welcome to apply but will receive lower priority in the review process.

EEASI Challenge for Ages 18+: The Entrepreneurship of Self

‘The Entrepreneurship of Self’ is a 10-week human capital development program that teaches entrepreneurship as an essential life skill – equipping individuals ages 18 and up for financial, personal, & professional success. It is an experiential, problem-based learning program designed to inspire, inform, and involve participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide. Designed for rigor and relevance, the program provides a comprehensive framework for understanding and implementing an entrepreneurial mindset, regardless of one’s chosen path. EEASI Challenge for High-School Age Youth: Youth EEASI Challenge

The Youth EEASI Challenge is a two-week summer experience for high-school-age youth that’s designed to spark entrepreneurial thinking and strengthen skills for collective problem-solving, setting youth up for long-term personal and professional success. The Youth EEASI Challenge is an experiential learning program that inspires, informs, and involves youth in real-world problem-solving for businesses and communities.
